Who decides what the Fashion Trends will be for each comming season ? When do we see it reflected in stores ?
Also, how can I understand timing of Runway shows, followed by trade shows and then see everything in stores and magazines ?. How does the entire fashion cycle works. Please help urgently !

there are people in the Fashion Industry that GREATLY influences the business. ex. anna wintour, karl lagerfeld… and they create/influence trends. for example, if anne wintour hints that she likes a certain color or style, a lot of designers are going to try to impress her because she has that much power. and for colors that are ‘in’, there are companies that decide that ahead of time. after a runway show for a season, the trends on those shows would be reflected in maintstream clothing companies (clothing you can afford.) but how fast the trend comes to stores near you depends on where you live. im in canada and we get trends likea year later. in europe, the trend change would happen at an earlier time, because all the best fashion houses are in europe. does that make sense?
btw anna wintour is the editor in chief of american vogue. she has so much power over the fashion industry, like if she doesn’t like a designer’s line, then that line sucks to everyone. she creates and destroys trends
