HELP WITH R.E PILGRIMAGE PROJECT!!!!?

ok i really need help i’ve been frustrated with this project and it make’s me want to go on a rampage!!
what i have to do is find a way to get to Lourdes, France from London for a pilgrimage. TT^TT i can either get there by:

If you fly to Tarbes, you will probably have to pre-book a taxi. It’s only a small place so there isn’t a guarantee there will be a taxi available, especially as almost everyone who gets off the plane will be thinking the same.

Trains in France are good and reliable. It’s posible to get the train from London on the Eurostar and then from Paris down, as described. LFying is quicker but more expensive. If you are a student, are you on a limited budget? If so, a coach party may be possible. It’s a long drive but could well be cheapest.

The tourist sites mentioned are good, but remember they are only glossy brochures. If you want to visit the baths, they give you the opening hours. What they don’t say is that you have to queue for 4 hours before the opening times. If you arrive at the opening time, you won’t get in, such is the demand. For the afternoon session you would need to aim to get there by 1030.

Be prepared for the commercial side of Lourdes. Yes it’s a place of religion and ultimately the hopes of those who visit. But there are hundreds of souvenir shops all selling the same stuff, and some of it is tacky. Food is generally catering for the international visitor, so not particularly authentic French. But do take a trip to the Pyrenees – it’s spectacular and well worth the effort.
